He hides in the shadows
Away from the light
Beneath barren trees
On a cold autumn night
In black cape, he’s shrouded
Blending in with the dark
Tis here he will stay
Where he’ll make his mark
Ready to scare
The hell out of you
Creeps up behind, and then
Loudly yells, BOO!
You jump out of your skin
His deed is now done
You’re nothing but bones
And with he, you are one
Now it’s your turn to hide
In the shadows, such delight
Waiting for your prey
On this Halloween night…
