The hum of the distant mower gave her a thought. Rose, fed up with her neighbor, had to put an end to it Every Saturday night, Kelvin mowed his lawn. In the dark! She couldn’t enjoy her patio, nor fire pit, with that constant drone in the background.
That’s when she had a brilliant idea. As quietly as possible, rolling her own mower next door, she waited. Soon, he started, as did Rose, crossing paths. Kelvin demanded to know what she was doing.
“When in Rome, neighbor” she smirked.
All’s quiet now, except for the sound of a crackling fire.

Oh I know exactly what you mean. Our neighbor mows early in the morning which is annoying. My daughter comes charging out of the house and gives him a dirty look. ๐ I like your idea. ๐

I’m laughing, picturing your daughter doing that. This one is nuts. How the heck can you see in the dark??!! LOL

Yes, that resonates with Jax, floodlights on to do the mowing in late summer evening. We also had sprinkling systems that were set to interrupt the night, something that had to be done.

Oh no, no flood lights. He cuts the lawn in the dark. He has the entire weekend to do it during the day but no…has to be after 8:30 on a Sunday night. And we have noise statutes in our town. Pffft.
