The lovely Helene of Willow Poetry has challenged us with “What do you See?”. You may write a poem, haiku, tanka or short story that represents what you see or feel within you. More info can be found in the link below.
Each step harder than the next
She is determined
The top seems so far away
But, oh the reward that waits
~~~
Touching the heavens
The fruit of her labor shines
A glorious sight
She smiles when she reaches it
Content, she withers away
This is a lovely poem, Dorinda. I thought I read this before, maybe on Helene’s blog.
Your double Etheree is a treasure Dorinda. (I can’t image doing those stairs every day).
