Well, here we are again, the week is over, and I’m so happy to see you! Grab your tea, iced or hot, and let’s talk! If you’d like to bring along any snacks, please feel free. I saved the comfy seat just for you. 🙂
If we were sipping tea and talking I would tell you: the week started off pretty normally. After food shopping, we had a lovely afternoon together. I wish I had the time for more days like this.
If we were sipping tea and talking I would tell you: I saw the doctor, had blood tests done and was surprised by how well my numbers are! I’m very happy. So aside from the every day nuisances, the rest of me seems to be doing okay.
If we were sipping tea and talking I would tell you: my dear friend Miriam has a promotion for her book, “Songs of Heartstrings”. It’s a lovely poetry book and one I truly enjoyed reading. She tells me the book will be free for Kindle on Tuesday, March 5th. Here’s the link: Songs of Heartstrings on Amazon.
If we were sipping tea and talking I would tell you: that it snowed again, and we’re about to be walloped with the worst winter storm of the season. They predicting 5-8 inches for my area, so that either means we’ll get a few flurries, or a few feet! I’m praying for the flurries.
If we were sipping tea and talking I would tell you: I have joined Diana Peach and her Ninny Rhino Challenge. I have committed (or I should be lol) to writing 500-750 words per day for the month of March. So far, so good! It’s great fun and it’s got me working on my WIP again. No excuses this time. Join in! Did I mention you get a badge and everything?!
If we were sipping tea and talking I would tell you: my mom got some bad news from the doctor. She had fallen a while back and was taken to the hospital. They X-rayed her hip but not her back. Turns out she has a compression fracture of her spine. Second time this has happened. She never had a chance to say something to the dr’s because that was the night I passed out at the hospital. Hey, I was already there…
If we were sipping tea and talking I would tell you: I had a lovely lunch date with my beautiful daughter. She has been taking care of a woman who is awaiting a kidney transplant, and also caring for her two pups. Have I told you how proud I am of Alyssa? I’m pretty sure I have. 😉
If we were sipping tea and talking I would tell you: it snowed yet again, on Saturday. Even though it looked very pretty, we needed our driveway plowed out. Luckily, my landscaper does this for us. Tomorrow will be the bad one, so he’ll be back.
As for this week coming up:
If we were sipping tea, basking in the sun and talking I would tell you: I have some running around this week, provided the weather cooperates, in between packing and writing. I hope I don’t poop out before getting it all done!
If we were sipping tea, basking in the sun and talking I would tell you: as much as I’ve enjoyed our time together this week, it’s time to bid you adieu! Have a great week ahead!! ❤

Reminds me of the quote, “Tea is drunk to forget the din of the world.” 😊
