Hello! I’ve decided to add a new feature to my bog called “Tea Time Talk”. I was inspired to do so by our dear blog sister, Ritu, of But I Smile Anyway and her “Chai and a Chat” weekly feature. So much so, when I asked her to help me with some names, she came up with a few, and this one hit a home run, so here we are! Thanks so very much, Ritu, for the title, and being such a supportive friend to everyone! ❤
The normal posting day for this will be Sunday but since this is my first, today it is! Shall we?
If we were sipping tea and talking I would tell you: I’m not really a hot tea drinker but I do love iced tea. It’s all the same, right, except one has frozen cubes in it. May I pour for you?
If we were sipping tea and talking I would tell you: The week has been a hectic one but in a good way. I am finally getting to the end of editing my book. Of course, as you can see, I had a little help. I hope she caught all the spelling mistakes!
If we were sipping tea and talking I would tell you: how much I enjoy writing poetry and the occasional short/long story, especially from the challenges many in our blogging community treat us to.
If we were sipping tea and talking I would tell you: I am currently working on a novel called “Devil’s Pond”. It’s been in the works for 2 years and currently I’m at a stalemate. I know where I want the book to go, I just need to find the path to get there.
If we were sipping tea and talking I would tell you: Being partially disabled has its downfalls. Most days, it’s very difficult to type, but I shall persevere! I’m a fighter. I refuse to be beaten down by this.
If we were sipping tea and talking I would tell you: I love cliff hangers. Whenever I write a story, I try to make it end with the reader wanting more. What about you? Are you satisfied with an ending, or do you like to drive people crazy? Lol
As for next week…
If we were sipping tea, basking in the sun and talking I would tell you: I will begin packing up my home of 28 years. We are downsizing and looking to find something easier for me to care for. I’m trying to come to grips with it, but it’s extremely hard.
If we were sipping tea, basking in the sun and talking I would tell you: that I’ve loved our first chat together and look forward to the week ahead. Thanks for reading!
Awe… I love this! What great insight, and release, and the opportunity to, dare I say, journal? Fun! Is there anything you write that isn’t good? Asking for a friend! Thanks for sharing!
