We’re a jumbled mess, caught up in a ball
And we can’t seem to sort it out, at all
Too many ends, and not enough starts
Often weigh heavily, upon our hearts
Each of us, an entangled, intricate thread
Needing to connect, sometimes misled
Split down the middle, tossed to the side
Losing a sense of ourselves, and our pride
Til, we finally realize, every each of our fiber
Contains threads, no one else can decipher

I enjoyed the poem, Dorinda, especially the end – we never will be truly known by another – we’re much too tangled and complex. 🙂

Exactly, D! And those who try to unravel us are in for a big surprise! Thank you! 🙂
