She knew something was up
When he didn’t come for dinner
She even prepared his favorite sauce
He always told her, it was a winner
She tried not to think of the worst
Maybe he got stuck at work
More like he was out, with some floozy
That husband of hers, what a jerk!
She decided to teach him a lesson
In fact, she made it her only mission
When he came in, she smelled perfume
And knew then, it wasn’t a suspicion
He tried to explain where he had been
But she wasn’t buying it, not one bit
Took her saucepan off the stove top
And gave him a great big hit
On top of his head, with a thud
He landed, flat on his back
Maybe next time, he’ll think twice
Before he spends time in another sack

What a shame, considering he was shopping for the perfume as an anniversary gift. So sad.

🙂 Unfortunately, i have a brother-in-law who should be dead from saucepan hits. His so-called wife remains very loyal to him (which is sadly ironic).
