The fire burned inside him
His temper followed suit
By light of day, a mortal
By night, immortal pursuit
The demons preyed upon him
Though he fought, a valiant fight
He could never win the battle
Twas a human’s only plight
He tried his best to break away
Their powers grew much stronger
Pulled him apart, his body gave
He couldn’t bare it any longer
They enveloped him in powers
No mere mortal could contain
Never again, to walk the earth
Locked inside an immortal plane

You don’t have to commit to anything. Do one, two or none. It keeps the writing flowing. I hope you keep writing. I know there’s ink in those veins!
