As daylight grows shorter
And night becomes cold
Flowers will wither away
Growing old
Rain will suddenly turn into snow
Hardening ground
Til there’s no room to grow
Perhaps a few sprinkles
From the watering can
Will perk up the flora
With love, from our hands
