It is true…the snow does add a layer of freezing snow to ground already frozen. I live in California, so the snow is mostly up in the mountains. We are lucky, although it was just 37 degrees this morning! I know…”crybabies!”

LOL it’s 38 here, but it’s also night. We were in the 50’s today, a heatwave! No crying in Cali 😉

Hey now…we’ve had it rough out here…close to 5 inches of rain in the month of January alone. Today is storming! Yikes!!

Steve, I’m hoping you’re okay out there. I saw the news with all the mud slides, etc. I was in Cali when they occurred, years ago, and man that was scary. We’re expecting a nor’easter overnight through Tuesday morning. Batten down the hatches!! Be safe, my friend!

How kind of you to be concerned…and how rude of me that I took so long to respond! I’m just that far behind..
Where I live was hit hard by rains, but there were no burn areas around us. We had some flooding, but nothing which threatened any homes. I certainly hope your “Nor’easter” is not one which will put you and yours in danger. I was in Washington and Baltimore last summer and got stuck in some heavy rains. I can only imagine how hard it must be during the winter months!
Thank you, Dorinda, for your concern. God love and bless you, friend!

So glad you’re ok!! We’re all good here, too. The shore area got hit hard, yet again. But we’re resilient, we always come back from the worst! Be well, my friend, God bless you & yours 🙂

And you take care as well. Evacuate if you have to, but I hope it doesn’t come anywhere close to that for you! May the Lord bless and keep you and yours, Dorinda…
