Bewildered by what she cannot be
Reflections in the glass, mirror only me
Cast aside, she’ll watch the others play
Curious thoughts still gather her way
Wondering why they have left her alone
No one to talk with, here on her own
Somber and lonely, she sits and she dreams
The only true friends are illusions, it seems

This is so thoughtful. Since people do not worry over the loneliness children feel. Children feel acutely lonely when parents focus only on the bodily needs and they start making up friends in their heads, no one in real life can match their standards. If they get perfect imaginary friend ! A real imperfect friend is better than thousand perfect imaginary ones !
