Snowy white against the green
Reflections in the waters, beam
She waits upon a fallen tree
For moon to call and set her free
When sunset shadows into night
And she, at last, can take her flight
Tis when her fantasy begins to play
And you become her evening prey
She’ll mesmerize with glowing eyes
And captivate with illusive guise
When her reflection in the water beams
The owl is not always what she seems

I wouldn’t want to be the owl’s prey, but what a spectacular vision you’ve captured for us!

I love how you spread mystery … and look at the eyes of the owl. Great!
