I wrote this when my daughter, Alyssa, was in the hospital. It was such a helpless feeling. One I hope you never have to experience. I thank God every day that she is okay….He listens, even when you think He’s not…always have faith.

How can I take away your pain?
I watch, as your color begins to drain
Clenching my chest to bring it to me
Taking the horror you feel and setting you free
Praying to God, in Heaven above
Knowing he hears me, embraces with love
Reminding me always, this is part of his plan
As he holds you close, in his loving hands

A beautiful remembrance of how God faithfully answers our prayers. 🙂

That must have been very difficult to put down in words.

Yes, it was. But I’ve found that writing down my feelings help me cope better
