For you back east. I have already cut the lawn twice. The price you pay living in Lotus Land. I live on an Island in the far West of Canada in a semi tropical rain forest. Our spring begins in late January. But I do remember when the heat rose and melted the snow and the smell of the earth rising. That for me was a sign of Spring. Happy Spring and Spring solstice to you.

I’m just glad to see green!!! We’re supposed to have a nor’easter today but I’m hoping it turns toward the sea. Snow on the first day of Spring should be a sin (and it’s Palm Sunday, too!)

Thank you, Andrew! It was hiding under an evergreen bush, I thought it should have its moment of glory 🙂
