Trapped inside a frozen shell
The warmth, forbidden in her mind
Longing to find the comforting heat
And let the coldness melt behind
She finds no comfort from the ice
It’s a bitter and lonely place
The tears, once flowing from her eyes
Now frozen on her face
She seeks a fire to ease the chill
A pain she tries to quell
Yet she remains forever
Trapped inside a frozen hell

Thank you, Debbie! Ice and cold (unless it’s in a drink) always make me melancholic.
