Mysterious eyes of icy blue

Hide the lies that once were true

Shrouded behind her feathered masque

Afraid that she’ll be brought to task

For what she did so long ago

No, what she did, they cannot know

Nor who she was before that day

When the fire left her, went away

And turned her heart as cold as rime

Sealing memories, lost in time

Frozen, she can no longer feel

A hardened heart, she must conceal
