I shared this last year.

Eagle Rock September 11th Memorial

Today we honor the brave men and women of the police, first responders and fire fighters, who sacrificed theirs lives to save others, and of course their four legged furry friends.

Yet, 16 17 Years later, Freedom still stands! We will not be defeated! America, One Nation, Under God, Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for All!!

God bless the men and women, our first responders, who care not for themselves, but for the lives of all of us. Respect and honor them every day. ❤

There are no words
That can be said
To ease this imminent
Feeling of dread

That still looms over
Our hearts and souls
Of hateful men
With hateful goals

Each year we remember
Those who gave all
Brave men and women
Lost in the fall

Of buildings so high
Standing proud on our soil
Aflame with the fire
Of jet fuel and oil

A country united
Together we stood
Through dark clouds of smoke
We did what we could

As we look back on this day
Filled with sorrow, regret
We are Strong, We are Americans
We will Never Forget
