When things in life get you down, often make you feel forlorn

And big decisions weigh on you, and you feel old, and worn

There is nothing more remorseful, than letting life go astray

Leave the past behind you, you’re much better off that way!

I watch the sun set, o’er the mountains

A breathtaking sight, for my eyes, to see

Colors of orange, red, yellow, like a fountain

Decorating twilight, with a glorious apogee

Through high piles of snow, we lumber along

As drifts vie to stop us, our gathering throng

So, we become immature, trying to smother

Everyone, by throwing snowballs at each other

Through a wall of snow, I am sawing

Praying for an early spring thawing

Winter blues have me down

All I can do is frown

Teeth chatter, must be from the gnawing
