A heart drawn in the sand,

For my only one, so true

Far away from the rushing tides

My feelings, traced for you

Out of reach from the ocean’s roar

Etched forever upon the shore

My love is like the endless sea

For you are my life, my eternity

O’er the glistening seas

In effortless flight

A ravaged body, howbeit, floats
Sailing alone, she’s a mystery

Silken cloth once carried her
Across the endless, bounding sea

Morning shines its ethereal glow
Upon this torn and battered maid

Who once set sail, her victory,
Yet, into the mist, she begins to fade

With the rays of light that warm her soul
And let her spirits wander free

This mighty ship still journeys on
In search of immortal destiny
