with thoughts of you, your
lips against mine, the smell of
your skin, the heat smoldering
between us, til there is nothing left
but the memories, as you depart
and I wait, for you to return to me

The way you make me feel
In the morning light, the rising
Of your heat against my lips
Your smooth taste, the passion
Of my existence, awakening my
Every sense, and then you’re gone
And I long to begin the day again
To feel this desire quenched, breathe
In the aroma of your sweetest scent….
Pour me another cup of coffee, would you…

A symbol, of our love, forever
A circle, wrapped around our fingers
The desire between us, forever lingers
No end to what the future brings
Ours hearts, as one, with these two rings
