Apples, sweetly plump

Give way to an autumn feast

With luscious cider

All these holiday goodies, can make a body plump

A nibble here, a sneak of sweets, finds its way to our rump

We’ve become corpulent, just because we had to try it

Until January second, tis when we all begin that diet!

Plump and provocative, feathers in their hair

These ladies showed their curves, anytime, anywhere

Didn’t care what others thought, or what they had to say

They enjoyed the attention, on any given day

Liked to show off for the gents, who waited by the door

Pleased them all, but seemed, they always wanted more

Not to worry, dear boys, there was plenty to go around

These ladies were quite worth it…

Ounce for ounce, and pound for pound

Lips that pouted, soft and plump
How he longed to hungrily kiss her

Watching quietly, as she lie asleep
He knew in his heart, he would miss her

No chance for him to stay the night
He needed to leave while he could

She always knew he would return
Some things are just understood

One last glance, as he left the room
How he wanted so much to wake her

His heart always caused him such grief
Next time, he promised, he’d take her
