A vision appears in the dark of night

Rather gnome like or perhaps ogre

Simply floating about, blocking

What lies ahead of me, still

I ignore, best I can

This apparition

It plays games

Abhorrent

Loathsome

Thing

It

Tries me

Go away

You quite bore me

And I know better

I remain here, watching

It dissipates in the air

Swirling about, creative mist

A cloud of smoke no longer inhaled

But exhaled, letting it escape my soul

Where what appears, as a mere cobweb

Actually has something, well hidden

A coven of witches, hold court inside

Sorry, mundane, you’re forbidden

Only the powerful may pass the door

A simple spell will never make it

You must study with the master witch

Trust me, you’ll never be able to fake it

For these witches know the ones so true

They can feel the vibrance, profound

Stay back, if you know what’s good for you

Or in their web, you are sure to be bound

Destroying all they see, with fright

A ziglet of zombies, troll the night

Leaving the town, in chaos and fire

One by one, they fulfill their desire

Of taking down, the one’s so small

They have no sense of being, at all

Pieces of them, they drop on the way

Searching for their next, unwilling prey

Roaming the land, they hunt, pursue…

When the dead come to town, they’ll be looking for you…

One problem with mummy man, Lucas
His car, always covered in mucus
Globs of green, all around
Left his mark, quite profound
The town stayed away from this doofus

Didn’t care what everyone did think
All that greasy green sludge, what a stink!
He would throw all this slime
Police named it a crime
Then threw Lucas away, in the brink!

Never saw him again, around town
This chauffeur, now in jail, with a frown
Became quickly unglued
Tense, with disquietude
Poor Lucas, now a pile, on the ground

Setting fire to the midnight sky
She takes off, upon her broom

Halloween, the witch’s right
Tis the hour of certain doom

She leaves her black cat, safe at home
As she flies about, through the clouds

He mews his loudest, atop the dome
She repeats to him, he’s not allowed

This is her night, to release her wrath
Probably better if you stay home, too

For the broom of doom, in its aftermath
Makes you, the main course, for her stew
