The Joys of Spam ~ Amusing Comments

Ah, Spam, don’t waste your love on somebody, who doesn’t value it (sorry, Shakespeare).

No, I’m not talking about that disgusting canned stuff that campers (like my husband) keep in case of an emergency (no emergency could get me to eat that). I’m speaking of the delightful fun of checking our spam comments. You see, the need to do so arises because some of our followers wind up in there (tsk tsk Akismet). We can only hope they realize we are not ignoring them. So without further ado….

Apparently I have a great deal of knowledge pertaining to dreaming. This from someone who seldom sleeps, if dreams. I’m amused. I also use green seaweed in my salad. That could attribute to the fresh content, but no, appears I don’t have that either. Maybe purchasing generic Cialis or Viagra would perk up my blog. That should get a rise out of it, don’t ya think? And who knew? I totally missed the donation button option because so many people claim they would definitely donate to my blog. To think, I could be a millionaire without writing a word! And last but certainly not least, if I ever give up writing (not a chance) I can always become a porn star. 😉

And so ends this entry on the most ludicrous things you can find when sifting through spam. Hope this gave you a giggle as I certainly had a good time, especially wondering what these people do in real life!!

To all of you, thank you so very much for your wonderful comments.  I love them all, and you, too!!  ❤

The Shy Young Man ~ #RomanticTuesday #poetry #WorldPoetryDay

He was a shy young man, with flowers in his hand

Calling my name, with a stutter

Afraid I would run, perhaps even make fun

Silly boy, my heart’s in a flutter

I took the bouquet, with its colorful array

But thank you, was all I could utter

I felt my cheeks blush, and the words start to gush

He looked confused as could be

I tried to straighten my face, and explain with some grace

But our laughter took over, with glee

He smiled with a grin that was bigger than him

I knew in that moment, you see

We would always be one, from night until sun

My beautiful shy man and me

dadme
Wasn’t it just yesterday
You called to say hello
To catch up on my crazy life
And joke about the snow

The minutes flew by, much to fast
Like the snowflakes swirling round
We laughed so much, my stomach hurt
Our laughter knew no bounds

We promised once again to call
On New Year’s Eve, to say
The best is yet to come, alas
It didn’t end that way

You left before the year was done
God had other plans for you
The telephone would never ring
With “hello there”, this is true

Forever, Daddy, you’re always here
We’re never far apart
Every time I look up to the stars
I feel you in my heart

For C & J – two beautiful people
She tries so hard, just to be

The one she wants him to see

Through all the ups and downs

And the turmoil that swirls around

He smiles and laughs his boyish grin

Knowing well, from deep within

Her love for him shall never waver

This is ultimately what will save her

From wondering if she’s got it right

When at times, she’s up all night

Just watching as he breathes, she sighs

Questioning the reasons why

She doubts herself when she can see

The fine young man he’s grown to be

She laughed at his silly jokes

His inane sense of humor

She made him smile

Her infectious giggles

Sent him soaring

Ever lost in her universe
