The girls all gathered for a rare, special treat
Touted as something that couldn’t be beat
Each one brought, her husband or mate
Some of them even brought their last date

Standing in a cornfield, far away from town
The men were getting antsy, starting to frown
They didn’t understand, why they were there
The women kept chattering, they didn’t care

When the men found out, what a surprise!
There was a rocket ship, in front of their eyes
The women urged them, to climb on board
Knowing pretty soon, they’d get their reward

The rocket doors closed, there was no escape
They had tricked the men, who stood, agape
The thrusters fired the ship, clear off the ground
The laughter from the ladies, did clearly abound

Waving goodbye, to those left standing on land
You have to wonder, who had the upper hand…

Plump and provocative, feathers in their hair

These ladies showed their curves, anytime, anywhere

Didn’t care what others thought, or what they had to say

They enjoyed the attention, on any given day

Liked to show off for the gents, who waited by the door

Pleased them all, but seemed, they always wanted more

Not to worry, dear boys, there was plenty to go around

These ladies were quite worth it…

Ounce for ounce, and pound for pound

He was an old softy, with a devilish old heart

Knew how to get the girls, right from the start

Romancing each one, was his kind of game

He never left any of them, feeling the same

Each night he’d romance, yet another pretty face

Then leave her behind, ‘cause he needed his space

Til this one little lady, cheeks red, as she blushed

Smiled, ever shyly, turning his heart into mush

The Devil’s Brigade ~ #poetry

Corridors once marked the time

Where mortals held their stance

Are now just empty, barren halls

Arranged or happenstance?

Where once the ladies danced about

Carousing with their men

Drunk with laughter, lust and love

They would never see again

The warriors who held these walls

And built this great blockade

Were felled, against the demons

No match for the Devil’s brigade
