Dancing on air, no ground for their feet

The music is silent, hearing only the beat

Of two hearts, together, perfect symmetry

Afloat on the wind, their minds, fancy free

Bodies in motion, no matter the space

No need for frilly, they are elegant grace

Flying high, still, they’ve new heights to discover

Their movements in sync, each one, the other

Author’s note: I chose to write the opposite (antonym) of Michelle’s prompt.

Call upon my heart, in a whispering sigh

Fold me in your arms, as time rushes by

Tell me tales of tomorrow, let my heart soar

In hushed, quiet moments, tis what I live for

Let us be one, with a gentle caress

The touch of two hearts, easily express

The rhythm of love, endlessly sublime

Our bodies in sync, mere poetry in rhyme
