Moonlit Night, the Owl Flies
A Messenger in White
Talons Grasp the Silken Scroll
That Shimmers in the Light

She Watches as he Takes his Flight
Will he Return Perchance
As Winter’s Cold Envelops her
She Turns for One Last Glance

A Secret Held, She’s Hidden Long
Known to the Snowy Raptors
She’ll Feel no Fervor in her Soul
Until his Heart she Captures

Drawing you in
Taunting, Teasing
Until you are spent
Daunting, Ceasing
No sense can be made
Hanging, Grasping
She swallows you whole
Haranguing, Gasping
Her darkness descends
Cloaking, Hovering
Blinding your mind
Choking, Covering
Til nothing is left
Barren and Void
Insanity lingers
Empty, Destroyed

Shepherd boy perched up high

Your flock of stars ignites the sky

Trails of glitter light the way

Splendid is their quiet array

Guided by your steady hand

Glistening softly o’er the land

Emerald eyes
An elfin glow
Faeries called to task
Whispers of memories
Locked in her mind
Hidden, cloaked, masked

By forest wood
The tale unfolds
Magical, mystical glories
The sprites do tell
Of jealous hearts
Abound in untold stories

Fallen angel
Broken wings
Lightning strikes you
Puppet strings

Clutching ground
You grasp for love
Ravens gather
Once were doves

Darkness fills
Your empty being
Trapping, seizing
No longer freeing

Sadness falling
From the skies
Broken angel
Your heart now cries

Fallen angel
No longer flies
