The Pumpkin Patch

Grandpa fell asleep

With a nest upon his head

Sister’s in the teacup

And I should be in bed

Ropes of garlic to the sky

Grandma reaches way up high

The height can surely make you swoon

Yet, my big brother hangs the moon

And far below the twinkling stars

There, nestled on the ground

Lies a tiny pumpkin patch

Where happiness abounds

To my WordPress Family <3

There’s this thing called life

That just gets in the way

And keeps me from reading

The words that you say

So forgive me if it takes time

To catch up with your “stuff”

You bring light to my world

I can’t thank you enough!

I really do think of all of you as my family.  We share, we care and we encourage.  I can’t think of a better place to be.  ❤

A Brief Hiatus

Break

Dear Friends,

I will be taking a brief hiatus to take care of my mom, who fell and broke her  elbow, during the ice storm we experienced on Sunday.  My family will always come before all else, and as such, I will devote my time to her. While the words will still flow, sharing them will have to wait.

Thank you for your continued support.  I’ll see you soon 🙂

On the eve of Christmas, with lights a’twinkle

And children waiting, for Ole Kris Kringle

We gather around the Christmas tree

And share our love, with friends and family
