The House on Grayson Place

The House on Grayson Place ~ The Disappearance

Hidden under her veil of black

Coat slung over her shoulder

No one sees her, as she moves about

Her clothes, from days, much older

She holds a scroll, in both her hands

Or is it something else she clasps

She watches, as others drift on by

Still, no one stops and asks

Ms. Grayson, hides in the shadows

Where she will never leave a trace

Laughs, at all the village folk

An evil sneer, still, upon her face

Skeletons do scare

With sinister, leering eyes

When October ends

It swirls in mysterious clouded skies

In the ebony night, high above, where it flies

Among the heavens, coated with mist

Eerily seeking its unearthly bliss

Illuminating, the blackened space

Where mystical beings remain, untraced

Floating in cosmos, waxing and waning

Till fully encompassing all it’s containing

Mesmerizing our Earthly sights

Keeping watch with its ever ethereal light

Honey Moon

Superstitions guide our way
This thirteenth day of June
As night time falls
Across the sky
We see the Honey Moon

It follows us
Across the heavens
No matter where we walk
A face so eerily watches
But never does it talk

And we watch back
As it rises low
Across a blackened night
This colorless orb
That shines on us
Until the morning light
