The sky grows dark
Throwing shadows
To the light
Out of the clouds
Comes a beauty
Cloak of white
The body of dove
Flutters softly
To the tree
Lands upon a limb
She sits, waiting there
For me
And quietly, I walk
To where she is
Above the ground
The word of God
Speaks through her
A message…
…Quite profound

Coo softly, my sweetest dove
A tune, for my harp shall play
A song, flowing gently, with the stream
That comes and goes, as it may
Let verdant grounds, caress my feet
Lush, from the springtime rain
Then carry me, on the wings of love
So I may return home, again
