The Holy week for Christians begins on Holy Thursday, the day of the last supper, the holy communion and finally, the betrayal of Jesus. On Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday, I will share a three part poem about these fateful days, leading up to Jesus’ resurrection.

Please know that this is in no way meant to offend anyone. We all believe, in our own ways. This is simply my reflection…..

Until tomorrow,

Dorinda

nightsky
Weary bones, diminishing light

Sunset, gathering in the night

Tired limbs begin to drag

Aching bones begin to nag

Looking for a resting place

Serene, a quiet, secret space

To dream my dreary thoughts away

And sleep, until the light of day

A Whispering Breeze
In the soft Fire Light
Caresses my Skin
In the Cool of the Night

Entrances my Thoughts
As it Flickers the Flame
Beguiling in Beauty
It Calls out my Name

Lures me to Where
The Sparks are ablaze
And Carries my soul
In Mysterious Ways

Nature’s palette blooms

Colors, blended perfectly

With spring’s subtle stroke

The last of winter

Blown away by the March winds

Gone, not forgotten
