No longer blue, skies turning gray
Colorful atmosphere drifting away
Melancholy thoughts invade, unkind
Ominous, clouds float, past my mind
But what if the blue returned, for a day
Bringing the warmth of the sun
Would we be happier, brighter, this way?
Enlightened by what has been done
No, the sky will go back to its colorless display
And our minds will continue to wander, astray
Chasing the unreachable, wondering why
The colors of autumn must pass, quickly by

I’m excited to share the cover for my upcoming poetry book, titled “Passages and Paths – A Journey of Life through Poetry”

The book is looking at a mid to late October release. The cover photo was taken by me, along one of the many paths I have journeyed on 🙂
