And pretty soon, the sky will snow
Please don’t let me stay out here
I need warmth, like you, my dear
I’m just as human as anyone
I love to sit in the shining sun
But when the sun turns much colder
And I, become, a wee bit older
Inside, away, from bitter weather
Is where I’ll feel much, much better
Author’s note: As the colder weather makes its way in, please remember to take in your pets. Freezing conditions for humans are unbearable. I can’t imagine what they feel like when forgotten in the cold…

Four paws
racing through the halls
in anticipation
Anxiously awaiting
dancing by the door
tail wagging, tongue hanging
there to greet you with
Unconditional love
In loving memory of Prince, Mimi, Alia, Ripley & Kira, who brought such joy to our lives over the many years. Always in our hearts, never forgotten.
