If you don’t take the initiative, to better your life

People begin to think of you, as an ugly old snake

Kindness is important, in this world, so full of strife

Put others before your own self, for goodness sake!

We are prone to compromise, yet we do not know why

Perhaps, we prefer the sunshine, instead of dark skies

I am often reminiscent about those times, I let get by

Those are the days, over which I find, I now agonize
