I remember that day

The one where the sky sang

In shades of pink and blue

That day when clouds caressed

The setting sun, bathed

In a blanketed grace

When the world seemed so light

*

I remember that day

The one where the colors rang

In a glorious, pastel hue

That day when the sky was blessed

With a palette, and it painted

On a blank canvas in space

And the world seemed so right
