I want to lie in scented fields
With blue skies, overhead
Breathe in nature’s nectar
Forget about today, instead
I’ll laze among the color
Of vibrant poppy red
Close my eyes, and daydream
Upon my floral bed

The alluring beauty of
An autumn sigh
Intoxicating
Mesmerizing
Drawing you in
Blue skies against
Soft billowing clouds
Soaring so high
Weightlessly
Aimlessly
Caught in the wind
Sweet autumn
An endless display
My sweet autumn
Carries me away
