My heart races
Setting speeds
Blurring faces
Anxious, in the morning air
Wondering, if someone’s there
To quiet, all the fears inside
And comfort me, as I collide
With restlessness, and nervous doubt
Just wondering, what life’s about

Asking
Will it be right again
Will it be forever
She opens her heart
Afraid
Wondering
If the yearning is need
Or the need is longing
He hesitates

Will it be forever
He opens his heart
Hoping
Wondering

They hesitate
Wondering
Open hearts
Filled with
Unspoken promises
