This was once a beautiful, majestic tree in Pines Lake, (Wayne) NJ, felled by the “bombcyclone” aka winter storm Riley, we had over the weekend. A lot of these trees are very old, and could not withstand the 60+ MPH winds that accompanied the nor’easter.
The township was out most of the day and night, trying to handle the fallen trees. Good job!! 
But so very sad to see these beauties no longer standing tall 😦
And we brace for yet another storm heading our way midweek…winter’s not done with us just yet!!
