Lost, and long forgotten times
Left me in a place uncertain
Naïve, was I, within my mind
Noticing not, would be my burden
False accusations, unfiltered words
Lead to a heart filled with anger
A barrage of absurdities, came at me, in herds
Much like the bells, tolling, such clangor
I never was that good at reading wrongs
It is something I am faced with everyday
Still, lessons learned, have made me strong
A way I shall live with, come what may

I can relate. My sister always called me naive, and it made me so mad, but now I understand she was right in many ways.

I can relate to what you’re saying. We never want anyone to think we have a weakness when it comes to certain things.

Thank you for always being here, creating, living and giving. This was a great poem. People are made stronger by the adversities in their lives. Thank you again, Dorinda.
