Rare where I am, Dorinda, near Sacramento, California. It’s a cardinal, isn’t it? They are rather rare out here.

Yes, it’s a cardinal. I didn’t realize they weren’t out there. I thought every state had them. They’re beautiful birds. The female I have is just as beautiful, although she’s not red like the male.
