You have to wait to enter the world
For fingers, toes to become unfurled
You have to wait to come of age
Teenage hormones, filled with rage
Then, you have to wait to graduate
Take the time, to find your mate
You have to wait for health results
While all the doctors, do consult
You have to wait, to know what’s true
You have to know, what’s right for you
You haven’t got time, to sit around
This waiting game, is so profound
You have to wait, it’s so absurd
Wait really is, a four letter word

This is a really good poem! We all have to wait. I can relate. 🙂

A touch of humour, here in the UK we wait for change for the better. Still, no political rants and I will reflect that some things are really worth waiting for 🙂

Yes, the finer things in life, things that don’t fill you with angst.
