As I grow older, I find silence is my best friend
It’s quiet, like the flowers I pick, along my walk
It’s a joy I find rewarding, a spark, a godsend
My peace of mind, when I do not wish to talk

It takes courage to remain quiet and silence to become courageous. Love your poem!

This is why my page is called quiet moments with God, my time with him alone and I do not share it, just Him and me. ❤ 🙂

Exactly, I go on my own pace, with camera in my hand, sometimes, and stop to take photos, look up to watch the clouds while walking (in a quiet neighborhood)… ❤

You’ve got the right idea, Miriam! I’m hoping to get some camera time in this weekend, if the rain and storms would stop already!! ❤

I have a week before going to babysit my granddaughter in Portland. I got to do list but hoping to keep up with the walking for my circulation. I can’t sleep well lately. 🙂

Talking your granddaughter for a walk, with a stroller for her if she’s little, would enable you to take a walk. I’m having sleeping trouble, too. Maybe the weather changes, season changes, any changes LOL

She can walk for half a mile now to the park. I think it’s wonderful for her to exercise. They live in a quiet neighborhood without traffic, and the drivers are very polite to let the pedestrians cross the road. I was half awake all night. Will go to steam room and swimming to see if it help. 🙂

Hope the steam and swim help! Try to go to bed early, and just relax! ❤
