Colleen’s challenge for us this week are the words Begin and Fresh. Remember, you can only use synonyms to write your poetry!
Written as a Reverse Nonet, my synonyms are Create and Anew.

My words
I create
Feelings anew
Parts of my own soul
Entirely exposed
To unknown human beings
Who somehow find my poetry

If you were able to see inside my brain… You’d see there is too much going on in too many directions to ever be bored! Hahahaha… Yes, I’ve never studied poetry, but I’m writing the different kinds as I see them.

Excellent! There’s a book titled “Poetry Handbook, 4th edition” by Babette Deutsch. It gives you all the different forms, plus explains much more. It’s worth it if you’re seriously considering the poetic form.
