I think one seems to have a darker head although both look like they would like to peck my eyes out

They’re much tougher looking than our robins. I’d certainly back yours in a scrap. Ours mostly just pose for Christmas cards and wait for you to toss them a handful of nuts and some bacon rind like entitled little buggers.

Bacon rind? Seriously? I thought they only ate worms! Ours don’t back down from a fight. I have a shot of one that looks like he went through a tsunami & hurricane at the same time. lol

Ive no idea just something in the back of mine said people used to or do or should. One of those. Or maybe its that you shouldn’t give them bacon rind. That could well be it. Might also explain all the dead robins…

The bird at the bottom in photograph looks smaller, but it could be distance in relation to the above two.

They are three different birds, but all American Robins. 🙂
