Why on earth would I wax the ceiling?
Is the paint up there so badly peeling?
I look up, and to my own eyes
It’s only then do I realize
Ragged pieces, hang and flutter
The cobwebs hide the messy clutter
What shall I do, I can’t stand by
Oh, why must ceilings be so high?
Perhaps, I could try, sealing wax
That’s one sure way to hide the cracks
So, when people look up, all they’ll see
Are the pieces now stuck, to the ceiling and me

Interestingly, you picked it up as funny. It wasn’t meant to be, but I can totally see why LOL Thanks for the different perspective!!
