I watched you sinking, never blinking
Wondering what you could be thinking
My guiding light, all through the night
Beyond the waters, ever shrinking
*
Waves already start to break
Ripples caught, within your wake
Oceans glow, as tides do flow
My heart of hearts, there’s no mistake
*
Moonlight perfection, a lover’s protection
The one who holds me, with no objection
I’ll sink with you wholly, ever so slowly
For together, we create, the perfect reflection
