In our favorite place
Me and you
Take up very little space
Nestled together
Holding hands
Ignoring the others
Those who withstand
The happiness we feel
In our own little world
Year after year
Where love is unfurled

You’re welcome… I feel better than yesterday, but not as good as tomorrow 🙂
Still have pain, but I’m used to pain and I’m alive. God is good!

This made me feel happy for some reason. Ever since I was little, I’ve idolized falling in love and finding someone out there for me. These lines represent the feelings I want to have some day- sigh. 🙂 Lovely.

Hang in there. I was in my middle 30’s and pretty much decided that I would go through life without someone. Then that all changed one day and boy did it! I was raised in a home that getting married was not pushed.

thank you- and so happy for you! Lately there are many times I feel like I’m going to die alone. (Sigh.) Hopefully what happened to you, happens to me too.

That was over 20 years ago. Dying alone is a major fear people have. One of the big adjustments for me was that for so long when I made a decision and it went wrong I was the one who would have to face the consequences. Once I got married decisions I made had consequences for another human being. If it is to happen for you my advice would be don’t go looking for it. Enjoy your life and if is meant to happen it will. If not that has nothing to do with you as a person. Just think of all the extra freedom you have!
