Hi Gang!
Here’s my dilemma:
I was going through the blogs I follow, and doing some cleaning up, when I discovered something quite odd. People I have been following forever, are no longer found in my “manage sites followed”, not even when I search by blog name or URL AND I’m not even following myself anymore! HOWEVER, I still get the emails when they (and I) post!!
Has anyone else noticed this happening with their blog?

! Every 24-hour interval Dorinda, it seems though I buzz off the emails, i have to operate on my blog and come them all over again.

The engineers must be from Lynchburg Tennessee the home of Jack Daniels which ironically sits in the middle of a dry county. You are right WP can get frustrating!

I have had that happen, and also people that I am still following not showing up in my reader. So odd and frustrating!

Oh yes, the reader is the worst! That’s why I still get emails, otherwise I’d miss half the people I follow!

Every day Dorinda, it seems though I get the emails, i have to go on my blog and follow them all over again. when you have a lot of followers it does become a hassle, but loving all whom I follow, i will keep checking them out to keep from missing their gems! Have a beautiful Sunday!

That is weird. I noticed too (already a long while ago) that I I was unfollowed others and yes, even myself. But I didn’t get any post notifications. That’s why I noticed actually!

Exactly. I get the alerts, too. But if you go into the reader, you’ll find people you thought you were following with a “follow” option. Doesn’t make sense

You have a lot of followers. WP allows you to follow a certain number of followers back. When you overreach their numbers,

Ironically, I only have 2000+ followers on WP. The rest come from Twitter. Not sure why they would change who I’m following. And have they ever released why they cap your follow backs?

I’ve noticed that they are still showing up in my reader, but not marked as followed by me. So strange…

It really doesn’t. And I’m afraid to refollow the ones that look unfollowed because then perhaps it’ll do the opposite of what I want it to do. Is it Opposite Day? Lol…. 😋

LOL I think every day is these days! I refollowed anyway, will check the reader later to see what happened.
