I am weary

Growing tired of the day

Awaiting, the night

Longing

For darkness, the Milky Way

My mind, emptying

Of daily matters

Weighing on my heart

My thoughts, scatter

And yet, I am alive

Wishing on the stars

Gathering the light

It awakens me

Ebony splendor

Surrounding my soul

Taking me places

Tis where I am whole
