Soaking it in, before day is done
Relaxing here, on this quiet tree
Where no one really notices me
I blend in well, with winter gray
And I can lounge the day away
Until it’s time, to go back home
Into this tree, that’s mine, alone
Author’s note: This is not my buddy, Gandolph. He’s just another gray squirrel who hangs out in our tree 🙂

Oh, so sweet how you captured its thoughts. I was inhaling spring today. Although it is raining, it is so mild and I even heard the birds vividly chirping in the morning!
