Your name and mine, etched into trees
So many memories, swept with the breeze
We promised forever, but it just wouldn’t be
She came between us, and took you from me
No longer together, we grew distant, apart
Even though we remain, carved, in each other’s heart

A relationship can never be erased. It will always be part of our history! Lovely poem how you explained that, Dorinda!

Thank you very much, Erika! I thought, people hurt the trees when they carve them, but what about our hearts, and there you have it, “Carved” 🙂
